I love turquoise. 7 years ago or so, my friend gave me a turquoise necklace and I totally liked it. As I put it on so often, some of the beads and turquoise stones fell apart from the chain. Even so, I couldn't just say goodbye and let it rest in the drawer. So, I decided to remake it.
And here is the renewed turquoise necklace (Sorry, I didn't have a chance to take a pic of the original one for comparison). Every time I wear this, it reminds me of my friend who gave me the original one. Although I lost contact with her now, I truly hope that she's doing fine.

that´s indeed a beautiful necklace! i love turqoise too. it´s such a fresh yet warm colour and stone.
It's so pretty !!
How do you remake a necklace? I have cool beads and some sterling silver pieces, but I don't have a clue.
Thanks, LBeeeze!
After "undoing" all beads and stones from the original string, I just followed my intuition to put them randomly in nylon string. If I had certain beadwork technique, I could have made more gorgeous one, maybe? :) Anyway, it was fun!
